| Here is my recipe, everyone loves it!!!, just add a small amount to anything and enjoy! very, very flavorful because of the spice blend. The whole process takes 15-20 minutes. 1 oz dried chili peppers Reconstitute the peppers by putting them in a very small amount(1/4 cup) of boiling water. Let the mixture rest until the water is completely absorbed by the peppers. they should be the consistency of oatmeal, if there is any water not soaked up into the peppers, pour it out. Put the spices in a grinder and grind into a fine powder. peel the garlic cloves and run through a garlic press. Add spices, peppers, salt, garlic and Olive Oil. Optional next step: Take the entire mixture and run through a food processor until its fine paste. (i often dont do this as it tastes the same anyway, but if you want authentic texture, then process it!) Stores for approximately 3 weeks. Keep in airtight container, refrigerated. I make 5x times batches and the last one only lasted 2 weeks before it was gone!!! Its great on almost everything! Enjoy! Let me know if you try the recipe and like it! |
