Your favorite pepper for Parprika???

Last year I grew Alma Paprika - strictly for grinding into Paprika Powder. However... I found it to be more hot and spicy with not a very good smell after grinding...

I have a Tennesee Cheese Pepper I may try this year...

But does anyone have a good suggestion for a good pepper to grow that would be as close to Sweet Spanish Paprika?

Thank you.

I'm trying Numex Garnet for the first time....described as Mild/No Heat

Hmmm ... I love Alma Paprika, grow it every year, but if you are looking for something less spicy, I grew Cosa Arrugada last year. It's supposed to be mild, mine had literally no heat at all, but very sweet, and super productive.

This picture doesn't do it justice, the plant was loaded with peppers!

Another one that I have grown in the past that had no heat to it was Botinecka Zuta (Topepo Yellow). It's similar in size and shape to Alma Paprika.

You could also try Feher Ozon.
