From Kitchen to Containers

I have bought some chili seeds from Thailand when I was on vacation none of them germinated. I do not blame the seller because I did not store properly and it has been in my kitchen room many years.

I usually buy chili and hot spices from Chinese and Thai Shops here. However I never thought to try the dry chili I have bought to germinate. I have grown lemon grass and other herbs from their shops, when I have bought something I think about possibility to grow from the branches or seeds.

The unknown Thai chili variety:

Look at the seeds:

It is medium hot chilli/very hot chili. I have germinated one pod in paper towel method, within 8 days it started germination. Now the rest of the seeds I have sowed in the soil (coco coir and compost). I did mulch with Cat litter:

This is my homemade propagator :)

Whoever love to grow Thai Chili go to Thai shops and buy one airtight packet of dry chili, that's you can grow 100s.

By the way, I like the New Look of GW but the problem started with "AdChoices" I never had this AdChois pop up problem :(.
