The next step! flowers! Indoor growers advice..

Hi all! Thanks so much for all the help so far.

One of my pepper plants have some buds on it. Yay!

do you all do anything to combine the pollen in
the flowers? Or do they just develop peppers on their own?

I don't have a fan on them, but I live in an old house, and they shake whenever anyone walks across the floor.... and I move them about to water every few days. Is that enough "activity" - for both pollinating and for sturdiness of plants?

TYIA~

Hi t-bird

I use a cotton swab, I pull on the swab to loosen the cotton, guess I could use a paint brush also, I still do with my indoor starter plant and even when I put some outside in pots, I still swab them.

Just reach down and shake the plant once a day, no need to swab all those flowers.

its really too incredible! Next winter - I'll be gardening all the way through....

:)

And - the flower is really quite beautiful. If a couple of them get a few flowers each - I may take them out of the shelves and put them out for a display for a party this weekend!
