Four year old Brazilian Starfish

I got this Brazilian Starfish plant from CCN IN May of 2010. I've been over-wintering it every year since! Last season I harvested tons of peppers, and every year before that too. I harvest peppers from it until December every year. After that it loses allot of leaves, and then perks up in the spring. Hopefully this year is no exception!

Cool.
Now you need a shrimp plant to go with it...

Very nice, and all in a manageable sized pot too.

So you don't cut it back at all? Looks cool almost a tree! I have seeds of this one, looks like I'll be bringing it in next winter!

Some of the branches die off, and I cut them off. I never cut it back though. I'll try find some pics of it in full summer. The peppers are very good too! Spicy, but not super hot.

Awesome, what's the other pepper? Seems to me the compact ornamentals would make nice year round plants.

that is a Criolla Sella its only good for grinding in to powders IMO. I'm not growing it anymore, but it is good for drying.
