I'm sure some people in here know much more than I, but it is my opinion that if you have those lights going,and some indirect sunlight as well and they are not getting leggy you are in a golden zone !! If they are looking good, keep doing it .

Yeah, Rod, they are mostly looking ok. Just wondering if 12 hours on the porch and then 12 hours under the lights is too much light. We'll see what everyone says when they chime in.

It's not too much light. Some folks run their lights 24/7 for the first 8 weeks.

With sunlight, you must be very careful not to burn/blanch the seedlings. They don't need much light intensity when small.

Right now my little guys have been getting 24/7 light for the most part, and the only thing I really rotate on and off is my fan on them, but it isn't on any set schedule.

I'd say if they look good, keep doing what you're doing like most others have said!

I dunno. I'd hesitate to go 24/7. Plants need some sense of the diurnal period...

DM, that's why you taper off eventually. It's just 24/7 for the first part of the seedling vegetative stage, similar to growing cannabis under lights.

Absolutely. Once it gets closer to get my plants out in the garden, I'll start cutting the light back a little every couple of days and such.
