FYI:Temperature Effects On Various Species

Decided to germinate all peppers this year with heat, but only provide bottom heat for the first two weeks after germination. All varieties germinated within a week of one another. The GH temp was maintained at 50 degrees minimum, with highs into the 80's. Humidity varies.
The varieties shown are Corno di Toro, Lemon Drop, Tepin, Thai Hot, Numex Suave Orange, and Bhut Jokola.
Largest were the Corno, Lemon Drop, Tepin, and Thai. The smallest were the hybrids, Bhut and Numex. All are receiving 1/2 strength Miracle Grow all-purpose.
Obviously, the Corno and Lemon Drop are from colder climes that aren't affected by cooler temps.
The Tepin is native and a perennial around here. The hybrids seem to need more heat for faster growth. The Thai likes whatever it gets.
All had excellent root systems and were planted on 1/10.
