My peppers got slammed last year. Had to not only stake them but get a 1/2 in of soil off the leaves ,still did fine plants got 5-6ft was a real bummer at the time but made it through. If you stake them put 4 stakes around each plant 6ft stakes and use torn sheet strips to hold them up as they grow. It works

Right now as seedlings, you may want to protect. I would take gallon water or milk jugs and cut in half and place over them. I use the hdpe bottles(opaque). Also helps warm the roots a tad and protects from a few pests like cutworms, slugs, and earwigs.

Thanks guys since they are small and our garbage just got picked up a long with recyclables I put multiple bamboo stakes around each and tied them to the plant stalks. They should do alright crossing fingers weather report says gust to 50mph tonight oh joy.
