Aji Brazilian Starfish

So a while back I planted some seeds I received that were labeled "sand dollar." I wasn't sure what they were, as I could never find any information on it until I stumbled across someone asking something similar and found a pepper called the brazilian starfish.

Do these happen to be the same pepper?

I do know the 3 plants I have right now, they are extremely tall and are much taller than any of my other peppers. Over at the website they say it's almost vine-like. Can anyone say how big the vines get?

Thanks for any information!

I did a Google image search for Aji Brazilian Starfish nice looking plants and pods, looks like they are tall and branches may need support but nothing too outrageous. Let me know what you think of these peppers.

Thanks mark, I will let ya know how they are. I just know they have grown really tall. I want to say they got almost a little leggy? But everything else has been kinda short in comparison with the same light and watering etc.

But I'm kind of excited to see if this is indeed what I've searched for as they are neat looking.

RE: Aji Brazilian Starfish

I grew the Starfish last year. The plants got around 6 ft tall and produced a lot of pods. I was a little disappointed by the size--just over 1 inch across.

How was the heat and flavor of the starfish? Worth growing?
