Looks pretty dry on it. Also looks like you are using those peat pots that I hate with every ounce of energy, not that they are bad or anything, but they dry out so fast. I'd be interested to hear what others say, but to me it looks too dry on the little guy.

I went and sprayed them with pure water until they seemed drenched. When I went back, one had already sprung back up! Now I will let them dry out.

I was having some problems with the beginnings of wispy white web-like mold under the plastic germination dome which has a heating pad. So I have been cautious not to over water. I even let the germinating seeds air out for two days. I suppose I was over cautious?

Very awesome to hear. Little seedlings like that like it to be a little moist. I wouldn't "water log" them by any means, but a bit of moisture doesn't seem to hurt them. Once they set their first set of leaves, I'd start letting them get dry between watering. You will be able to tell when they need water when the leaves start to droop. And honestly, if you have a seed mat, I don't even use humidity domes. Once they start coming up you want air to circulate pretty well.
