Geez, I've never heard that one before, and pepper rancher is correct...it's not true. I've been growing them side by side for years and have yet to harvest a spicy tomato.

Nope not true, but I'd love to be able to make hot salsa w/o the peppers. lol.

Grow Onion,Garlic,cilantro and peppers next to each other and hope for a tomato that when diced up tastes like salsa.

Don't bother.

I tried it last season and all I ended up with were boney green onion tasting things with lots seeds and lots of layered flakey skins.

CouldnÂt eat them so, I wrapped them up in orange plastic bags and gave them away at Halloween!
