Plants and roots looking real good. They would probably be ok for another month, but if they start showing signs of stress I would repot them beforehand. Whatever you are doing for them it's going great as they are healthy and happy. Looking forward to future pics.

I'd treat them like they were in Hydroponics.
Use a VERY Weak fert. every time you water.
Keeps the roots from looking for nutes(getting bigger +/-).
But makes the plant grow big etc.
As long as drainage ,Temp. amd light are cool.
Low doses of nutes should be cool for a few weeks and not stress the plants in general.

IF they get too root bound,take a dull knife/screwdriver or whatever tool you choose and scrape the outside edge of the roots when you transplant.
It breaks enough roots to cause new roots to try and spread out faster in the new place you plant them in-ground or bigger pots.

Aren't you the guy at about 60* north latitude? Won't you have another 6-8 weeks before you can plant outside? If so, I think you will definitely need to repot before then.

smokemaster: Thanks for the suggestion. What is a "VERY weak fertilizer" by the way? All I know about growing stuff I learnt since February... :)

don: Yes, I'm the guy in Norway :) Last frost is sometime in the middle of May, but I'm building a raised bed with a DIY greenhouse "roof". I'm hoping to get them out early May if that's safe. Weather so far is looking promising.

If I start re-potting I will not be able to afford my plants proper lighting. In the solo cups I'm already really pushing the limit of my light right, and with bigger pots I'd have to rely on some window sills, which get sun, but still no more than 6-10 hours a day. So, what's worse? Too small pots, or some plants going from 16 hours of 6400K artificial lighting to ~8 hours of sun-through-the-window?

Bruce: Just you wait until the season starts, then it'll be me who's jealous here in my "summer" watching your plants producing :)
