My new friend :-)

I was pruning my Tabasco removing old growth when I came across this little guy. Sorry for the fuzzy pictures. I used my phone.
He was tiny! I bought a pair of rachet pruners because my other pruners would not cut through some of the half inch branches.

Anyone else use them? If not, try them. Cuts right through with a clean razor sharp cut.

Dave, when my peppers get a little too big for hand pruners, I just break out the chain saw.
Cool bug.

That is the secret. For those 2" wide branches, nothing else works. The problem with these dang peppers is getting to the tops to pick them all when they are ripe. To big to reach and not big enough to climb.

Nice to have a few (hundred) of those around. But it looks like the little fella is missing lunch.
