Pinching buds off a revived overwinter?

Hey all you overwintering experts (I know you're out there!)
I have a quick question for you based on your experience:

This pic here is an inferno pepper waking up for its 3rd year of fruiting. I am very excited. I have potted it up from a 2.5 to a 5g container an it is really coming along. It has a bunch of tiny new growth leaves and a lot of buds to match. I am wondering if I should pinch the buds for a time to allow it to get more and larger foliage faster since its kind of bare right now. What do you guys think? have any input here?

Thanks in advance!

Tim
