My rookie advise is get the temp to 83-88 degrees and get them out of the sun....

Ease the growth process, if they are getting to spindly then it's insufficient lighting. I suggest using a CFL or floro lights until you can harden off. At this point I would be more interested in keeping them alive and healthy. Trinidad Scorps are plenty hot without any tricks. Well draining soil, keeping them hydrated but not soppy wet, fertilize as needed and full sun after hardening them off, all lead to healthy hot pepper production. As your first attempt I would be only interested in keeping them alive and healthy, you will learn as you go and find what works and what does not work in your enviorment.

You got many useful advice here. As mark said,"Well draining soil, keeping them hydrated but not soppy wet" are very important. Uploading the pictures of the seedlings would be very helpful to us for suggestion.

awesome guys thanks for the advise for sure! as soon as i get a better camera beside my camera phone ill load some photos up and keep everyone up to date on the chilies photos all the way through. once i get these up and ready for transplant i will plant my trinidad moruga scorpions, they just came in today! i feel like im on the right path to being a super hot pepper grower! looking forward to eating them, have never tasted one fresh haha so that will be a trip! im sure i will be chiming in on little things here in there! thanks again for everything.
