Okay, so I got a packet of seeds and it said to sow them 2 inches deep. I noticed there was no sign of growth or germination, so today I did a bit of research online and it actually said to sow them 1/4" deep. I went over to my pepper "plant" and loosened up some soil, poured it out and found 3 little seedlings. The problem is, they're white. I'm under the assumption that this is normal considering they were under all that soil and that they'll recover after a few days. Can anyone confirm this? Or are they dead?

Let them have some light and they might recover.

JoJo this is the stage where they need to be hardened off, i.e. get used to the sun slowly.
