Last week I was at the Penzeys spice store in Atlanta, and they had dried Dundicut peppers.

I was in an indian grocery yesterday. of course I went to look at the peppers. they had what they were calling "dried round chile peppers". I considered buying some, but decided against it (no money). let us know what you think, if they're good I'll have to pick some up. of course if I did, it would be by far the mildest pepper in my yard.

Ok. The slowest mover among my peppers is Bishop's Crown (just flowering). DUNDICUT gets the second worse place. They are setting pods now. They kept flowering but kept dropping them. Maybe it was too hot for a while. Since the pods are small, I should expect them to mature faster.
They are sold at Indo-Pakistani store at $2/100 grams(~ 3 oz). That is dried. Real cheap. They also had this chili called "Kashmiri" which is claimed to be better / more flavorful than Paprika( $2/100 gr.). I was looking for like Bhut, Naga. NADA !

Final Update as promised.

The Growth Habit:
It is like a Habanero, short, bushy, compact:

HEAT: I would compare to Habanero. But the heat is not stinging and mostly keeps my lips warm for a good while. Flavor is very good.

As I mentioned it was very slow in my PNW climate. Finally flowered and set fruits. But as off the end of season, nothing ripened on the plant. So I picked all of them and let them stand on the counter. Eventually they all turned nice N red.

In the attached picture they ate @ 11 to 1 O' Clock position, showing some red and some green. But all the green ones also turned red a week later.

BTW: The whole arrangement was my final haul, consisting of about 8 varieties.
