Or it could be that you have enough calcium and it's just experiencing a temporary nutrient lockout. There are plenty of reasons that can happen, but in-ground i suspect your plants will snap out of it and resume normal growth.

Not sure what area you live in, but many parts of North America are currently experiencing wild temperature swings and excessive rain. This alone causes certain symptoms to appear and are often responsible for these "mystery" problems.

If you are in one of these climate affected areas, then i would hold off on the moisture and nutrients for now. Try not to wet the leaves, keep them dry because they are currently susceptible to leaf disorders (Bacterial Spot, molds, fungus, etc). But even the roots can be susceptible to disorders due to wild temp swings, and excessive moisture. Also remember that some pepper types are more climate tolerant and somehow manage to thrive, whereas other types are less tolerant.

I suspect they will be fine, but good luck either way.

Yuppp temps are swinging like crazy last week it was dry and almost 90 this week pouring down rain and 70's during the days and 50's at night. Sure wish things would settle down around here. I'm in north west Mississippi by the way.
