Harvesting peppers

Bill_Missy

Hello all,

I will say up front that this is probably a dumb question, but.... As a first year grower I don't want to hurt my plants for future pod growth.

When picking peppers off the plant, I think I know that you cut them off with a clean pair of scissors/knife etc. But do you leave the remaining part of the pepper branch in tack or cut it as close to the "Y" as you can?

Cut at A or B? If you cut at A, do you leave the remaining stem on or remove it all the way to the Y?

Thanks all for the help and answering a rookie question.

Bill
