Chipotle**

I have made it before using early Jalepenos and it was amazing. Just made a basic green salsa.

As posted above, they are using the Chipotle pepper. It is a red jalapeno that has been smoke dried. The smoke is what gives it that flavor. Any other smoked Annum would probably be an acceptable substitute if you don't have jalapenos growing already.
