Sunburn and and a hot week coming up

Unfortunately I did not get a useable photo to show you, I will try to get one soon.

Anyhow, I have several pepper plants (and tomatoe plants) that I planted out 2 weeks ago. It was incredibly rainy the last 2 weeks with a few days of sun here and there. I noticed that several of my pepper plants have what looks like sunburn (even though it seems odd that they would get it when it has been very rainy). The leaves ( a few of the top ones on each plant) almost have a white metallic look to them, and no bugs or any other evidence of foul play.

Yesterday it was very warm and sunny (70 degrees) and this week we are going to get up in the 80's.

The metallicy leaves have not become worse, and other then that the plants LOOK ok.

So my question is, with this very warm weather coming up, do you think I need to somehow cover them or see how they do?
