| I labeled all my superhots and exotic pepper plants but some of the more common peppers I didn't label and I have one weird pepper plant that throws a lot of flowers but doesn't produce fruit just 4 little stems out the middle of the flower. I think the seed pkg was labeled Jalapeno Grande
If I don't see any peppers soon I think I am just going to pull it up. All my other pepper plants this size are full of fruit.

That sure looks different than a typical pepper plant. I would be interested to know also what variety it is. Hopefully some of the experienced guys out there can point you in the right direction. Bruce

Me neither. I also have one on the other side of the house, in the area I rowed for my tomatoes and other peppers, that is exactly like this one. All my peppers were grown inside and then transplanted when they were at least 8" tall. I am pretty sure this one was supposed to be the Jalapeno Grande. Looks like one of the seed companies(suppliers) screwed up.

Hey, don't just pull the poor fella. Now I want to know what the heck it is. Give the blooms a chance to set and see what happens. Then report back. LOL. But hey, seriously, I totally understand if you want it out of your way.

It's not a pepper. I know what it is but can't think of it right now. The flower is a dead give away as to what it is....I know what it is but can't think of it... Maybe Jerusalem Cherry/Perrsimmons Ornamental... Datura family...

So, does it get any fruit and what are they like? Might be fun to grow anyway. Bruce

I have 3 purple tomatillo plants growing and they don't look like this one and their blossoms are yellow not white. Plus the seeds for tomatillos are small and I would have immediately recognized it as a non pepper(even though I am a gardening newbie, I know at least this much). I started and transplanted all my peppers first, so this plant would have to have larger seeds, similar to a pepper in size.

Jerusalem Cherry/Perssimmin's Ornamental seeds look just like Pepper seeds.
