| yes it is real. from what i hear, most of the peppers do not turn out like this. but i am growing a plant to find out for $hits and giggles. |

| I noticed the seeds are like twice as much as most other super hots, maybe because it is a local hybrid. I wonder if it seeds true. |

| I grew them in Red,Yellow and orange. They don't all grow as advertised. Most look like deformed peppers,only some grow the desired looking pods. yellow or orange seemed to grow more pods with the right look. Several places sell the seeds for the same price as other pepper seeds. Rainbow Chile seeds had a mix of colors in 1 pack but they are out of stock right now. |

| The seeds cost a lot because it fits into the realm of unusual demand from people who ordinarily wouldn't grow a hot pepper. It's become a bit of a novelty and the seeds are mostly in the hands of hobby and small-scale suppliers. The many variations of bhut jolokia/etc. get a bit of a price bump for the same reason, though it's getting easier to find the seeds for cheap as the years roll on. |
