| Howdy, pepper growers!
Season's greetings to all those following along another year, and a warm welcome to the newcomers
For reference, here's the link to my 2011 growth-Thread: Greenman's Peppers 2011 (pics) Mix: this year, I used the same ingredients for my seedstarting mix - fir bark, coarse perlite,
Fertilizer: I use Dyna Grow Foliage Pro 9-3-6, which contains all macro and micro-nutrients
Varieties: Red and Yellow Bhut Jolokia, Trinidad Scorpion Moruga, 7-Pod Jonah,
This is a fairly recent update video of my seedlings, from April 28th: Hot Pepper Seedlings - video Now, the pics! Click the Thumbnails for a larger view :-) 1. I started seeds near the middle of March this year. Filled my 6-cell containers with mix,
2. As soon as the seeds sprouted, I removed the plastic wrap. In the pic below, you can see
3. The first of the superhots to sprout...a Yellow Bhut Jolokia, courtesy of Romy, I believe. 4. More superhots popping up! Oh, and you'll notice a Purple Russian tomato seedling
5. Manzano seedlings that I planted on April 7th. 6. Superhots as they grudgingly grow larger...I think I'll start them two weeks earlier than the others
7. Some of the Capsicum annuums - Black Pearl, Hungarian Wax, and Thai Chile. The Thai Chiles
8. The first family portrait....a few days before I started re-potting in 4-inch containers. 9. Another family portrait, after some of the seedlings have been re-potted. I took a Thai
10. And here's one of the 4 Thai Chiles that I sprouted - this one I took to my brother yesterday. Last but not least...an update on the old Lady! ;-)

| Hi Josh, keep up the good work and advice as we follow your growing season. I followed the 2011 season and enjoyed it. Thanks for going with a 2012 season, all your plants look great.. Can't wait for pod pics of the TS Moruga and give your opinion on heat and flavor. Mark |
|
| Looking great! Your yard looks freakin' nice as well! |
|
| What? No Carribean Reds? Orange Habs? hahahaha yer plants are looking finely manicured as they do every year. And thats awesome that Hun Wax is still kicking ;) Jim |
|
| Yah, I noticed that yard too. Who couldn't grow stuff in an area like that. Talk about green! Josh, your plants always look great. I got my pine bark out on a tarp drying out right now. Then I have to sift it for size...yuk. I will be potting up my Over winter plants this week. Like you, the Hungarian is one of my first. Hope I can get one of the two to last three or more years. Keep us updated. |

| Thanks, gentlemen, it's nice to be back in business! Mark, that's very much appreciated, sir. I look forward to growing and reviewing Moruga, as well. Bill, between a few folks here at the Forum, I have enough varieties to last me years at the rate I'm going :-) Jim, haha, those Caribbean Reds and Orange Habs must have just slipped my mind when I was startin' seeds ;-) Tsheets and Bruce, thanks! We've had rain, then sun, rain, then sun, which has made for excellent Bruce, I'm getting ready to put together a big batch of mix, as well. With more plants in containers Well, I finished re-potting the seedlings into 4-inch containers today. There's absolutely no room

| Thanks, Jaime! Of course I planned to post a grow-Thread, I just needed a little nudge ;-) My gratitude again to you for hooking me up with so many awesome varieties.... it was difficult to narrow down *which* 7-Pod to grow. I'm really excited about the Datil.

| Weather's been warm, so I've been hardening my seedlings off on the back deck below the rail.... Another couple weeks and I'll be ready to re-pot and transplant these little guys. Two Hungarians and two Thai chiles are already in the garden...getting eaten by slugs and earwigs ;-) Josh |
|
| Very nice. Will you be planting straight up to your summer sized containers? If so, seems like you plant them out when they are small. My plants are way behind this season as you know and are not much bigger than yours but when I planted out last year's crop, they were all about a foot or taller. What are the two plants on the bottom of the picture? Are those Black Prince? Is that your whole crop for the year or do you have more. Other than the few you already put in the garden for bug food. Bruce |

- Posted by greenman28 NorCal 7b/8a (My Page) on Sat, May 12, 12 at 16:58
| Haha, bug food :-) Thanks, Bruce! This is the whole crop, 18 plants total if my math is correct. Within a few week's time, I'm expecting these seedlings to be considerably taller, The two at the bottom are Black Pearls.

| Hello, folks! Mark, none of my root-pics turned out when I transplanted today. All blurry due to the shade. Anyhow, I made a few more gallons of 5-1-1 mix today, and I filmed the process for those interested.
Josh |
|
| Josh: Great video. Thanks. So, thanks for the Vid. It helps a lot to actually see what is being described. Bruce |
|
| Watched the tour from 6/4 as well. :-) What I noticed is the lime you had is a powder, what I found and used is little almost bb sized pellets/balls. I am wondering if that's the problem I am having with the 5-1-1..it just didn't get mixed evenly throughout or if the powdered stuff and pelletized stuff need to be measured differently. Anyway, my perlite *says* coarse on the bag, but, is much smaller than yours. For most of my mix, I screened the perlite with an old window screen to remove the excess dust. Thanks for videos! You have quite a bit of variety going on there! Wish I had the room to expand. |

- Posted by DaMonkey007 10b - Miami (My Page) on Thu, Jun 7, 12 at 11:42
| tsheets, What you have is probably "prilled" lime. It just a manufacturing process where wet lime congeals into soft pellets as it's shot from a prilling tower. They will break right up back to a powder as it get mixed, and dissolve with the application of water. As long as you mix really well, and wet the mix a bit as you go, you should have absolutely no problem with prilled lime. In fact, I use Espoma Lime - which is also a prilled product. There is also truly pelletized lime, which will be hard pellets - but I believe this form is much more uncommon in your local garden centers. Truly pelletized lime will take much longer to break down, and will have a tendancy to distribute unevenly. PJ |

| Thanks Josh no rush on the root pics, have until 2013 to make up my mind on the 5-1-1 mix. Tsheets google sponge rock that's I guess you could call it puffed perlite, that's as course as Josh is using. |
|
| PJ - The Espoma product is what I have. Thanks for the clarification. |

| Hey, guys, thanks for watching! Tsheets, glad you got to see the 6/4 rain tour ;-) Bruce, I don't usually screen the Perlite or Potting soil, it was just easier for me to show When I make more exact mixes, I put the Perlite into a pond-basket, then I rinse out the dust. PJ, thanks for clarifying on the powdered versus prilled Lime. Thanks, Mark!
Josh |
|
| PJ, thanks for clarification on the lime. When I watched Josh's video, I too thought, Oh, crap, I am using the wrong stuff because mine is in varying size pellets up to about the size of bb's. Josh, I havent spent too much time looking for the perlite since I had found that i could order it from HD online. But now that I find it isn't as course as it should be, I will try to find a different source before next year. I also failed to "rinse" my perlite. I did remember a lot of dust from mine and think that is going to limit the drainage properties a bit. Like I said, the video answers a lot of questions regarding the 5-1-1. Of course, it seems to generate some new ones as well. |

| Annnnnnnnnnnnd, their off!!!! Yellow Bhut Jolokia gets a good jump from lane 3 and leads the pack, followed by Ethiopian Brown Berbere and 7-Pod Jonah. Datil makes a move on the outside, and Manzano is charing on the rail. 7-Pod Jonah has overtaken Ethiopian Brown Berbere for second. Trinidad Scorpion Moruga has been quiet so far, but he moved to the middle of the pack through turn 2. Into the back stretch and Yellow Bhut Jolokia still has the lead by a length. Datil's taken third from Ethiopian Brown Berbere, who looks like he's losing steam. Trinidad Scorpion Moruga STORMED past Chocolate Habanero, Tabasco, & Indian Jwala to take forth. Ethiopian Brown Berbere's hopes are fading coming into turn 3. Hungarian Wax, & Thai Chile are making moves on the rail, and Black Pearl has COME ALIVE on the outside to pass Manzano. His sights are now set on Ethiopian Brown Berbere. Into turn 4 Yellow Bhut Jolokia still has the lead, Trinidad Scorpion Moruga is HOT on his heels in second, follow by Datil in third. Hungarian Wax has passed Manzano on the outside and is jockeying with 7-Pod Jonah for fourth. AND HERE THEY COME!!! Black Pearl is making a move on the outside, passing Datil for third! Its Yellow Bhut Jolokia and Trinidad Scorpion Moruga neck and neck in the home stretch!! Hungarian Wax is on the rail and charging, but he won't catch the leaders! Trinidad Scorpion Moruga has taken the lead by a nose, and HERE COMES BLACK PEARL!! ITS 3 WIDE WITH 50 YARDS TO GO!!! BLACK PEARL IS CHARING BUT WON'T GET THE WIN!!!! IT'S TRINIDAD SCORPION MORUGA AND YELLOW BHUT JOLOKIA TO THE FINISH LINE AND.......... To be continued.... They call that a cliffhanger folks.... LOL, that was fun!! PJ "All accounts in the preceding script are fictional, with the final positions having nothing to do with heat or quality. No horses, or peppers, were harmed during this production." |

| PJ, that was fantastic! Very creative, and an awesome play by play! Cheers! If only my peppers would co-operate....! So far, the Black Pearls are lagging!!!! But now that the peppers have all been re-potted, we'll see which one takes the lead. The Yellow Bhut, which was the first pepper to germinate, is the largest of the Chinenses. The Jwala and the brown Berbere, which are planted in the ground, are leading the pack.

Let me spell it out directly: your past behavior, your responses, and your outright disrespect to many of my friends at GardenWeb has earned you nothing but disdain and slight regard from me. I spent plenty of time interacting with you, offering advice, discussing soil dynamics and container growing, and you turned around - *multiple times* - and kicked crap in my face. What on earth makes you think I want anything to do with you at this point? I would prefer not to hear from you at all.

| Coming along very nicely Josh. The Berbere is a great pepper. You should use some to whip up a tasty Ethiopian Doro Wat ;-) The Pusa Jwala is definitely a must in Indian dishes. If you're looking to do a Vindaloo you may want to toss in a bit of Bhut. To my palate the Jwala isn't going to get you to the "I want to die" Vindaloo heat level unless you use a load of Jwalas. The Hungarians do look tasty. Funny out of all the varieties I've grown I've never tried the Hungarian hot wax variety. I think I'll squeeze it on my list for next season. Looking forward to the next progress report. Bill |

| Thank you, Bill! For the seeds and the tips on how to use these peppers! I don't blame you for not having grown the Hungarian....they're such a common plant
Josh |
|
| Ottawa: I really suggest you give the Hot Hungarian a try. Josh: great looking peppers. Your HHW are small plants but put out a lot of pepper for their size. I will be harvesting a second wave today or tomorrow on my two overwinters. Like you, I just had my first super hot (Trinidad Scorp Butch T) set a week or so ago. They are real turtles ehhh? I hope I can get it to rip before the end of the season. I want the seeds. I like the way you never seem to have major problems with your plants. They always seem healthy. Never heard of most of the other varieties you are growing. It makes me want to try a whole bunch of different varieties next year but that isn't my nature. I am pretty conservative in nature. I tend to go with things I can count on and that I know. But at least I fired up a few ornamentals this year. Glad I did. I have been thinking about my grow list for next year but won't get serious until after this season is over. |

| Great looking plants Josh. I'm sure your season is no where near being over, so I look forward to more updates. When did you plant this year? I'm just curious because I planted my bhuts in mid March and they are producing great. I was thinking about starting in late January or early February next year. Bruce....what the heck are you doing with super hots? I didn't think you ate anything over a HHW pepper. Tim |
|
- Posted by ottawapepper 5a (My Page) on Wed, Aug 15, 12 at 14:41
| Josh, I forgot too add that I dried and flaked some Jwalas last year. I used them for a few months and then they seemed to lose their ummph. If I dried them again I'll see how they hold up powdered. Bruce, come on friend, live a little and grow only new varieties next year ;-) It's never too early to start thinking of next years list. Actually I always have two lists going; one for the upcoming season and one for the following season. The following season one is first populated with stuff I didn't have room for in the upcoming season ;-) I think I'm now down to 18 varieties in my inventory I haven't tried yet. After seeing Josh's HHW pics I added to my list for next year. |

| Bill...I could be wrong, but I thought you said at the beginning of this year you weren't going to grow as many plants. It seems like it easy to say, but almost impossible to do. I keep talking about what I want to grow next year and the whole time my wife's giving me the "stink eye". Of course I say "it's only going to be a couple of plants", and the whole time I know I'm lying. :) Tim |

| Bruce, thanks! These Hungarians in-ground are puny, indeed. As soon as I get one red ripe pod, I'm yanking them all. Then I'll hit all the in-ground plants with a generous dose of Fish Emulsion. Maybe that way they will put on some foliage before the next wave of pods sets. My first year, I grew Hungarian Wax.... the next year I grew 4 varieties; the year after, I grew 9 varieties..... ;-) Thanks, Tim! I started my plants around the end of March, and didn't plant them out until June. I'll try to put together an update video. Neighbors are doing some sort of noisy home repair, though.

I sampled the ripest Hungarian with my sister - sweet, crunchy, with a good mild mouth burn. Also sampled a green Indian Jwala, and it wasn't hot at all yet. Anyhow, for posterity, here's my first tiny harvest :-) |

| Josh, I understand why you picked them now. I have a decent sized crop on my two overwinters now...all still yellow though. There are several less mature ones too. I have decided to pull most of the full size ones now except for one or two which I will let turn red. Then, hopefully I can pick them for seed along with the immature pods which should be full sized by mid September. DaMonkey007: check your mail. |

I bring a half pint jar of pickled banana peppers everywhere. I pretend it's a gift but really I just want to make sure there will be something spicy at the affair. |

| Hey, Peppermeister, those banana peppers that you pickle, are they hot? Or are they just spicy from the pickling process? regardless, can you send me directions for the pickling process/recipe that you use. pepperpikker(at)gmail.com And you will not regret your decision to grow HHW's next year. They are similar to Sweet Banana Peppers only with heat. They are nice and firm too, kind of like a jalapeno. Thanks, |

| Hey, gents, good to see you! :-) PJ, I see Hungarians in your future, hahaha. All is well, garden is pushing forward slowly but surely. I'm back to school working now, so I've been away from my garden. Not as much one on one time. Bill, my season goes straight through October, and then the 30F nights begin to hit in the Good news: more red and yellow Bhut pods have set, despite the small size of the plants this year. Also, I ate another one of these Hungarians last night and it was three times hotter than the one

| Bruce - done and done - you're the man! Josh - I went down the "World of Beer" on Sunday...which is what I imagine Heaven to be like...I had a few AB's myself...so good... PJ |

| Hey, PJ! Hope this weekend went well, too ;-) Great Whites and Boont Amber Ale...hoppy bite in the latter brew. Well, folks, here's the first pod on the plant that I grew from last year's Chocolate Habañero pods. |
|
| Yah, Josh, I think you got a cross there. Question though, if one seed in the pod is a cross, will all seeds from that pod show the same characteristics or is it a crap shoot? Bruce |
|
| Looking good Josh. That pod looks awfully Bhutish!!!!! |
|
- Posted by greenman28 NorCal 7b/8a (My Page) on Mon, Aug 27, 12 at 9:56
| Jaime and Bruce, good to see you! It sure does look Bhutish, doesn't it?! That, or the Bih (which is damned near the same, excepting some minor differences). I'm not too upset that it ain't a pure Chocolate ;-) Bruce, you know what, I'm going to have to look up the answer to that question; but, if you I will defer to any of the folks here who understand hybridization better than I do :-)

| Nice "Bhutish" looking pod, it'll be interesting to see how it turns out. Hey, I'll trade you some Chocolate Bhut Jolokia seeds that put out pods that don't exactly look like Bhut and ripen red not brown for some seeds from your pod ;-) |
|
- Posted by greenman28 NorCal 7b/8a (My Page) on Sun, Sep 16, 12 at 16:54
| Hehehe, Bill, if you want to take the time growing this hybrid, be my guest! ;-) The plant itself is displaying some hybrid vigor, seeing as it is the largest of my plants.... but it has only set 5 pods so far. My Red Bhut only has 4 pods, albeit perfect pods.... So, the latest pods to ripen are on the Indian Jwala. "Jwala" means *hot* in Hindi, |
|
- Posted by ottawapepper 5a (My Page) on Sun, Sep 16, 12 at 17:30
| I think I'll pass on the hybrid ;-) My non-chocolate Bhut (cross?) has put out a whack of pods... just not the right type of pod ;-) I'm surprised your Jwala doesn't have any heat. My ripe ones clocked in, I'd guess, at 30k SHU. My dried ones did get milder after a few months of storage though. Bill |
|
- Posted by greenman28 NorCal 7b/8a (My Page) on Mon, Sep 17, 12 at 18:16
| Yeah, I figure we have our hands full of crosses for the time being ;-) The Jwala surprised (and disappointed) me, as well. I've heard so many good things about them! But I think I can still add some Bhut to the Jwala to make a properly piquant Vindaloo. No great loss, since I have many friends who prefer mild peppers. Here's an update on the Yellow Bhuts. I figure another month'll be enough to ripen.

| Josh, Did you get the Jwala seed from me? Just checked my 2011 site map and my Jwala was one of the furthest away from sweet peppers I grew. Ain't gonna say it couldn't happen. I'm curious, was I your seed source? |
|
- Posted by greenman28 NorCal 7b/8a (My Page) on Mon, Sep 17, 12 at 21:09
| Hey! Nossir, these seeds came from a local gal in Sacramento. You're off the hook on this one ;-) Incidentally, I take it these pods look like the Jwala you've grown? Josh |
|

| Last year, I harvested my first ripe Bhut on September 21st. Whereas this year my Bhut showed the first hint of ripening on September 21st...... |
|
| Gosh that's an ugly pod. It makes me tremble just sitting here. I predict 1.5M SHU, if you survive to report it. |
|
- Posted by greenman28 NorCal 7b/8a (My Page) on Sun, Sep 23, 12 at 17:03
| That would be a pleasant surprise! ;-) The other pods are real ugly, too, but they don't have this classic Persian slipper shape.

| Nice Josh. A text book example of a Bhut pod, nice job! Mine started to ripen earlier than usual this year but my insidious earwigs ruined most of my crop. They have really taken a liking to my Jolokias. I'll see how I make out but I may have to hit you up for a couple of Bih seeds this winter, I'm tapped out. Bill |
|
- Posted by TheMasterGardener1 5B (My Page) on Sun, Sep 23, 12 at 18:37
| Yea looks like a nice Bhut pod to me. |

| I couldn't wait any longer ;-) So I pulled the first Bhut today, hopefully encouraging one or two more pods to set before frost.... |
|
| How does it taste Josh??? Bruce |
|
| Nice looking pod. Can you talk yet? |

| Thanks, guys :-) I'm going to try it with one of my pepper buddies in about an hour or so. I expect it to be an asskicker just like they were last year! Whoohooo! Bruce, I'll try to catch the flavor before my mouth goes nuclear ;-) Josh |
|
| "Bruce, I'll try to catch the flavor before my mouth goes nuclear ;-) " LMAO. That's what happened to me. I tried my superhot, and for about 10-15 secs, I said, Wow! Nice flavor." After that, I couldn't concentrate on TASTE any longer-- for the next 10 mins, all I could do was think about the extreme heat and how many different forms of dairy I should ingest. Kevin |
|
| Every time I tried anything from a very hot to super hot gave me about 5 seconds to experience the taste before the heat fried my taste buds. Bruce |
|
| Common experience with inhaled nitrous oxide is, "Yeah, I could feel the pain. I just didn't care." I wonder if that is the proper way to eat super-hots: Inhale deeply, take a bite. Repeat. DMF |

| Josh great pictures, you make me a bit envious! Anyhow I was trying to remember if it was you that had a thread of your overwintering thread where the pepper plants were severely root pruned and then the followin growing season how they flourished. Also what was the reasoning behing half burying the pots into the ground. I forget what you mentioned as to why you do this and what happens to the roots the venture outside the pots if you do pull them out in the winter. |
|
- Posted by peppernovice 7 b (My Page) on Tue, Oct 9, 12 at 17:48
| If I remember correctly, he buries them in milk crates. This is so when he gets ready to overwinter them, he just lifts the milk crate. It makes pulling them out of the ground a lot easier. Tim |

| Hey, guys! I use pond-baskets, containers with the bottom cut off, and even strawberry baskets this year. I do this to protect the plants from gopher and mole damage during the growing season, and then, indeed, pulling the plants up for overwintering is much, much easier. Josh |
|
- Posted by pkapeckopickldpepprz z9 a/b FL (My Page) on Tue, Oct 9, 12 at 18:42
| What do you do with the roots that grew through the basket mesh? Cut it off or carefully try to pull as much through for when you repot it? |
|
- Posted by greenman28 NorCal 7b/8a (My Page) on Tue, Oct 9, 12 at 18:48
| I just yank them off, then hose the garden soil out of the root-ball, and cut cleanly afterwards. Josh |

| Thanks, DM. I appreciate that. Josh |
|
| Josh, We have 3-4 weeks before overwintering peppers, this year I will follow your advice about bare rooting and pruning to eliminate micro pests and stimulate root activity through the winter. I think your threads indicate you overwinter peppers in 5-1-1 mix, as opposed to your starter seed mix of *equal parts* screened fir bark-perlite-turface, is that right? In last two years my pepper overwintering failed due to fungus gnat & whitefly issues indoors, Robert |
|
- Posted by greenman28 NorCal 7b/8a (My Page) on Tue, Oct 16, 12 at 13:32
| Hey, Robert, that's great to hear! I actually do go back to a faster-draining mix for overwintering my plants.

| Hey Josh! I can't believe how fast a season can go by! It seems like yesterday that I broadcasted the Pepper Downs Play by Play! Looking back, I wonder how accurate the final race standings were?!?! LOL! Great job bro, another great Greenman thread that reached so many, bravo! PJ |

| Holiday Greetings, fellow pepper growers! The season hasn't quite hit an end yet, due to the plants tucked away in the cold-frame :-) Here's a video for anyone interested in such things: Hot peppers - in the cold-frame And here's a shot of some of the Mushroom Cloud stuffed Mushrooms that we made |
|
| So, Josh, are going to overwinter all those plants in the cold frame or are you just trying to extend the growing season for most of them? Bruce |
|
- Posted by greenman28 NorCal 7b/8a (My Page) on Mon, Nov 26, 12 at 14:00
| Hey, Bruce, you got it! Really just trying to extend the growing season to harvest those final pods...especially the Yellow Bhuts. But eventually, yeah, I'll have to kick them out so that the Citrus can take their rightful place. I will keep the Black Pearls in there, I think, since they can easily be squeezed between the Citrus. The old Hungarian was harvested and hacked back yesterday, and I'll give her a couple weeks before down-potting and making the next chop. I actually put the cold-frame up a month early, and yet it still wasn't early enough to keep the

|

| Well, I'm really drawing this season out..... The last green pod on the Yellow Bhut plant is about half-ripened now, although I don't expect these winterpods to be as flavorful, sweet, or piquant as the summerpods. I pulled the plants out of the cold-frame yesterday for some fresh air, sunshine, and fertilizer. Final harvest in a few days..... |
|
| Yah, you sure are dragging the season out. I am starting to begin thinking about how I will approach the 2013 season even though I wont be putting seeds in the soil for nearly two more months. Good luck with the end of your season and then next season as well. Bruce |
|
- Posted by greenman28 NorCal 7b/8a (My Page) on Mon, Dec 10, 12 at 11:14
| Thanks, Bruce, same to you, sir! I won't be starting seeds until mid-February....but I'm already putting together my 2013 list ;-) Josh |
|
| Dang, Josh! Your off season is shorter than the NASCAR off season! haha! |

|
- Posted by greenman28 NorCal 7b/8a (My Page) on Thu, Dec 20, 12 at 14:59
| Well, we had an overnight low of 25F...and the plants can't take that, even in the cold-frame. So I pulled the Yellow Bhuts yesterday. These pods are pretty beaten up from the storms that hit us the past two months, but I think I can cut off the bad parts and dehydrate the good. I will let that unripe pod finish off a bit, then I'll make the Pineapple Lemon Ghost Jam :-) Other than a handful of Black Pearls yet to harvest, these are assuredly the last of the ripe pods. |

| Very impressive pictures, it is real pleasure to see all these beautiful plants and fruits. Caelian |

| Josh it's just great to see pics of pods this late in the season. Puts a reminder for what is to come next season. I am starting mid to late Jan, 2013 season here we come lol. The pineapple lemon Ghost jam sounds awesome!! Is the Lemon the fruit or the pepper? Mark |

| Thanks, Caelian and Mark! I'm getting excited about 2013 as well. As much as I like having a few pods lingering this late, For the Ghost Jam, yes I'm going to use Pineapple and some golden sweet Meyer Lemons for the fruit, I almost forgot to mention....last week, some awful critter wreaked havoc in my cold-frame, |

| They got wolverines in NC ?? |
|
| Man that sucks Josh. Did you ever find out what it was? Merry Christmas and Happpy New Year!!! |

| Merry Christmas to you, too, Jaime! :-) I think it was an opossum or a raccoon that did the damage...but I'm not sure. DM, it just so happens that there are wolverines here in Northern California...in the past
