Will you include some of the more hot hybrids such as "Jays Peach or Natural Variants such as Yellow Ghost? There are so many chili varieties, and many are different scovilles of the same species (choc fatali- Mild vs yellow/red fatali-hot)

I'm growing Fatali and Moruga Scorpion so when I read the Scoville to my wife based on a jalapeno (which she can barely take) she freaked out!

I gave her half of a pequin once and I never heard the end of it.
She was very upset..lol!

Yah, I am quite often going online to find the scoville of a certain pepper. Would be nice to know there is one single site that has most of the peppers in one place. As it is, I usaually have to check 4 or 5 sites to find the pepper listed that I am looking for unless it is quite common.

Good luck with that project. It might seem simple, but with the thousands of pepper varieties out there, it will take a lot of research and data entry to get it all set up. But after that, it will probably take minimal effort to maintain while adding new pepper varieties that are being developed as well as adding one not yet added. I would also expect a lot of traffic to the site once people realize there is essentially a one stop shop for scoville ratings. You might even be able to support it with some minimal sponsorship from seed an sauce companies.

Nice list you got going, could you change the Red Savina it should be 577,000 SHU just do a search for red savina with Dr. Paul Bosland who recorded it at 577,000.

Nice site, I see you've done a lot of work. But imo you should have a range, not just a number, and jalapenos are 5000 not 10000, where'd you get that number from? Also, it looks like on the superhots you are putting the highest number measured, it should be the average. Even on Ed's site, he states the CR at 1.474 million not 2.2 million. Same with the Moruga.

Good luck, you've got a lot of work ahead of you, i know, I've only searched scovilles on approx. 150 varieties and it was a chore on some of the less common ones.

That's awesome man. I like what you did. If I need to explain to someone the SHU I'll tell them to check out your website. One thing I would fix is, just do SHU of each variety. Example: Habanero and white habanero. There are so many color crosses I would just do the original pepper since they are so close in SHU. Just my opinion. Otherwise great job man
