The leave on my HABs seem to be more roundish and not pointy.

For your group shot that seems like you are cramping a lot of plants into a small space. Unless you plan on separating them later but their roots are going to be big time intertwined. That almost looks like spinach to me. But Im not a pepper pro. My habs look like the pic from scgreenthumb

Thanks for the reply....Agreed, it does resemble spinach but it's not. I didn't realize they were going to go that crazy on me, as I'd thought they were habaneros, but I'm on the verge of ripping them up and throwing them to my pig at this stage because that space was reserved for hot peppers. There are some aji amarillos and rocotos in the group photo but they're being overshadowed by those mutant plants that I'm yet to ID

I don't have the seeds anymore unfortunately. They were very small and flat, beige in colour. I had rocoto seeds from Perú and the mutant plant's seeds resembled them so I was happy enough that they were habanero seeds....now I'm not a bit happy

Well, they could be habs. You could have just a wrinkle problem. Have you been feeding them? They could have a nutrient deficiency.

I have since realized my error, I had two identical propagators...one with spinach leaved beet and the other with habanero. So embarrassingly I mixed them up, must have inhaled some fertilizer or something to have made that blunder!
Case Closed! Have found where I'd planted the habaneros and chucked the spinach beet...all's well in my polytunnel again

Lol perhaps wear a mask when handling chemicals?
