The mix you referenced in your link should be fine for germinating Ghost seeds. I've successfully used a similar mix for years.

I've used MG Organic Choice with added perlite thrown into the mix worked fine

I've not really paid much attention to the soil I've germinated seeds in, in the past but I've just had very good success with john innes no.1 potting soil on both my white habs and corni di torro, which I both previously had real difficulty getting to germinate at all, then almost instant death.

It's made such a difference that I'll be using it more in the future.
