Pepper leaves have crystals on them

I haven't checked on the seedlings for a few days. Today I was able to check them and found something weird with some of the leaves on my peppers.

At first it looked like there were these clear-ish tiny little bumps growing along the veins of the leaves. But upon closer inspection they looked more like crystals and they sort of flake off. I'm not totally freaked out just yet, but I can't find any info on this so I'm slightly concerned.

Wondering if anyone has the slightest clue what's happening here.

Oh! My peppers are starting to develop flower buds! Yay!

My first thought is that you are using some kind of fertilizer that is getting on the leaves when you water and then drying leaving behind the the crystalized materials that were dissolved in it.

My initial thought reading your post was Edema. It's caused by an imbalance of the plant's water uptake and water loss.

I suffered it pretty severely earlier this year on a few starts. Does this look familiar...
