I think I saw the long slim red at my local Home Depot but I'm in California. Might be a zone thing.

Yah, I think all the big box garden centers get their plants from regional/local nurseries. Our HD sells basically the exact same plants as our Walmart. Same grower and mostly the same varieties. I think you will have to do some calling and/or driving around looking. But it is a fairly common variety so you probably have a decent shot at finding them if you live in an area with lots of garden centers/nurseries. Good luck.
