Well.. I'll put it this way, if it were my plant - I'd be concerned. My knee-jerk reaction is overwatering, but it's all variable. Have you fertilized the plant at all yet? Is it under lights? Do you have air movement on it (fans)?

It's been fertilized a few time with a diluted solution, is under a grow light where it gets 16 hrs of light. They are in the basement where it's quite dry with good air movement but a little cool (the furnace is still running... ugh) and I put a fan on them for a couple hrs everyday.

I have around 20 pepper plants of various types and this is my largest plant. My other jalapeños have a few spots like this one but barely noticeable. All the other types are fine.

If the color seen in the photo is true color, then I would think that it is too pale for Jalapeno. This could be due to too much watering (washing down/out) and/or Nitrogen deficiency.

And I would doubt the benefit of 16 hours of light !

Not sure what it is. Could be something bacterial or fungal. Any way of isolating them from others?

Try posting the pic in the Garden Clinic forum. Also, Keep the fan going

Well it sounds like you've got everything going correctly, still feel it may be due to excess moisture though. As Kevin stated, keep the fan on them - I left my fan on 24/7 when they were young.
