Your right Jay that is cayenne I just hit what poped up in the auto spell and didn't look to see if it was right. I live in eastern Washington and the soil is dusty not sandy. I took this photo Thursday morning then spent all weekend digging them up and putting them in five gallon buckets with potting soil. I have had very little plant growth. I have pods but not many. And only a couple of plants that I would say doing well. The soil around them was packed Im guessing from watering and the root ball very small. All ready they look greener and perked up.
