what kind of light have you used for the indoor naga?

Don, that was a great looking plant with all that red back in February. Give it some time to adjust to real light and the temp fluctuations. With full summer upon us, I am sure it will begin to thrive soon. Chinense usually do like more heat and sun which makes them less happy about our cools spring weather.

Indoor was just T8 shoplights, mix of cool white and warm white bulbs. After harvest I needed the space to start bedding plants so moved the pepper to a south facing basement window until hardening it up outdoors in May. It began to deteriorate in the basement window and has continued to do so since it was moved outside. Hope Bruce is right that some July heat will help. At least I know I can grow them inside.

Beautiful pepper plant. What size pot did you use for the indoor plant? I have just started a few, which probably must be Over/Wintered during 2014 due to my late start.

I use about a one gallon or smaller pot to overwinter my peppers.

My indoor plant was grown in a 6" flower pot, but maybe if you've got something going now you'd want a bit bigger pot?

How did you get the top so wide? Cut the top off?

No, just let it branch normally. Unlike something like cayenne that like to grow vigorously upright, the Naga and I think most superhots seem to like to branch vigorously and form a wide spreading crown. Pretty much perfect for light culture really.
