you didn't tell us much about your grow setup. you may have done so in other posts, and I may not have seen them.

I may be coming out of left field here, but in my admittedly very limited experience with my plants, growth didn't really start taking off like crazy until right around the point that flower buds began appearing. it seems as if the flowers appear at the tops of new growth, and the plant branches off where the flowers are, which if they're getting enough nutrients leads to even more new growth.

if you wanna see crazy new growth, prune off a few of the bigger leaves, and hit it with fish fertilizer, bone meal (sprinkled on top of the soil, and stirred in a little bit), and epsom salt, and then stand back and watch the green explosion. cutting off a few leaves seems to kick it back into growth mode. as such from time to time I go out and cut off every non beautifully healthy looking leaf, to encourage the plants to replace them.

I mix the epsom salt and fish fert in the same watering can, and hit them hard. I do that every 2 weeks. my plants are huge, and healthy.

also, if you wanna see them get bigger fast, bring them inside for a day. the plant will start reaching for the sun, which means new growth. some of my thai peppers literally shot up 8" in the past week because I brought them in so they wouldn't drown in the tropical storm that hit us here in fl recently.
