Minimum container size for different peppers?

I blame you fine folks for getting me so excited about different peppers (and generously sharing seeds!) that now I have an over abundance and no way to get them all in ground. SO I need to look into some container growing, but I'm at a loss about what size containers I can get away with without severely reducing production.

I have a lot of containers that are 2 gallon and about 5 that are 5 gallon. Then I have one deck planter that is about 1.5 ft cubed, so that is definitely my biggest container.

The plants I have are:
peppadew
chinese 5 color
thai orange
mini bell
jalapeno
fresno

Which plants should get which pots? Also, from what I've read I shouldnt expect the peppadew to produce this year, so does that mean I can put it in a 2 gal or 5 gal and just expect to have to care for it inside and plant it out next year for production?

Thanks!!
