I was asked a question from a coworker that I couldn't fully answer with confidence this morning since I'm not a container grower.

He said when he waters his peppers, in the evening after work, the leaves curl for a while then straighten out. The only thing that I could think of was that maybe he needs to water them in the morning?

Maybe drying out during the day and the cool water kind of shocks them?

I asked him if he had checked the bottom of the leaves for aphids and he said he would check when he gets home.
