I would grow a Numex twilight if you want color. As for the taste, I don't think it would be much different than the 5 Color or Bolivian Rainbow. My mother uses the Twilights in salsa's.
This is a twilight from two years ago. I grow one or two every year. Most people find it hard to believe they are really hot peppers.

It was labeled as Midnight Hot Pepper. I think it's really explosive ember.

I suggest NuMex as well. I am growing my first one this year a/ it looks great.
