pepper plants concerns

I am growing pepper plants for the first time and just got rid of my first infestation of aphids by spraying my plants down with a dish soap hot pepper solution and planting them with some dill and garlic, the aphids have mostly gone away but the leaves are a little shriveled and there are some dark spots on parts of the plant. Is this due to the aphids or could they have blight? I hope they are due in for recovery. They are still producing flowers.
