the pepper I picked today has a strange ailment to ti, it has small white marks that extend into the flesh (it is a weird 3d effect, that you can see "into" the skin of the pepper.)

the sections with these marks are "harder" than my peppers are usually, its hard to describe but these sections are hard.

also I found a new creepy crawley on my plant today, he's dead now, but I can't find any matching pictures online so I figured I would post here.

I sprayed my plant down with sevin spray today to kill whatever might be hiding on it.

is this gonna keep being a problem or should it be done now? also what is the creepy crawlie if anyone knows.
