    Very nice Tim!

Are those in 5-1-1? If so, what's your feeding regimen? Much better looking than mine.

    Great work, Tim!
Powerful, thick, and lush looking plants! I wish mine were half as full. Cool grow-area, too. What varieties of tomatoes you got back there?

Kevin.....I have a mixture this year. I have about 2/3s in 5-1-1. The rest are mostly in Fafard 52 mix. I usually give them some Alaska fish fertilizer about once every 2 weeks. I'll also work in some MG vegetable fertilizer occasionally.
Josh.... Thanks. I have several varieties of tomatoes this year. Here's a list:

    Black Krim
    Santa Ana
    Right Bite
    Big Boy Hybrid
    Annas Noire
    Pink Berkely
I think that's all. It's late and I'm too lazy to go outside and check. I also have watermelon, cantaloupe, corn, basil, cilantro, jalapenos, sweet peppers, green beans and cucumbers.

Very nice! Those plants are so bushy!

I have several tomatoes as well. Planted I have bloody butcher, druzba, Cherokee Purple and Opalka. I tried Blak Krim last year. I liked them but, they cracked badly for me. I also grow basil and oregano every year.

I tried to start some squash, but, the damn chipmunks kept digging up the seeds!

    Ah, very nice.
Yes, the Black Krim cracked on me, too. I've had to stick with the tried and true...early girl, champion, fourth of july, sun gold, sweet 100. This year I started three from seed: paul robeson (seed from Bruce / Esox), purple russian (my second year, a real winner), and emmy. If they do well, I'll grow 'em again.

I use fish emulsion on my in-ground plants....but, hey, maybe I ought to try dosing some of my potted peppers, too. If they're going to look like yours.....

Thanks guys. Josh....I also add lime, osmocote, blood meal, and bone meal to the medium when I pot the plants. This was per your instructions, so I'm sure you do that as well. :) I'll post some close ups when I get home from church.

Thanks Bill. What can I say? I've had really good teachers! You guys have taught me everything I know. I come on here everyday and read. I still have so much to learn, but I'll get there eventually.

Thanks guys. I came home today and had a lot of leaf drop on one of my ghost. I'm not sure what happened. It's been about 3 days since I watered and fertilized, not sure if it got a little too much fertilizer or what. I have it on the back deck. I'm going to keep an eye on it for a couple of days. I hope it's nothing serious, it already has a small pod on it.

Tim, your plants look spectacular. I am very jealous.

Leaf drop is typical especially on lower leaves. Hopefully they are just the older leaves making way for new ones.

From the look of your plants I don't think it is too much ferts.

Wow those are fantastic. Mine are so tiny and yellow compared. I made some big mistakes this year, first being sapwood introduction instead of pine bark.... Second I'm trying to be as organic as possible so no miracle grow. Last year it did me well...

The potted one is a 2nd year bhut and the others are Fatalii and yellow scotch bonnet.

Thanks Jamie. Luckily it's only 1 plant so I'm keeping an eye on it. I noticed today that it already has some new leaves coming in.

Hillseeker....That bhut looks beautiful. I tried to over-winter mine from last year. I think it made it to about December before it died. I'm sure the rest of your plants will catch up soon.
