My plants were about that size when they got hit by 2 nights of 35 degrees. They pulled thru so yours should be fine

The days have been consistently between 75 and 85 degrees but they don't seem to grow much unless we get warm evenings, and have only had a couple of nights over 60 this month. Each time we have had warm nights the peppers seem to grow quite a bit more than the cold ones.

One of my tomato plants already fell on its head tonight from the wind (one of the only two w/o a cage :-( ) Better safe than sorry I guess.

It will be an interesting experiment.

They can handle 45F pretty well. Although, wind gusts can cause damage.

Hey as long as the tent stays standing. We had a "wind gust" a couple days ago that floated a two story house and carried it 150 yards before setting it down virtually intact.

All is well, phew! The extra warmth kept a few ambush spiders busy through the night to, BONUS. I may just keep this thing handy until we get back to some normal temps.

Thanks mecdave, that sounds pretty scary. I remember a twister touching down one year by the Texans stadium during Super cross that tore up our pits pretty bad. The semi truck tents were wrapped around the trailers like they were nothing. Thankfully I had just rolled inside for a start, sounded like a war over the radio. Ya don't mess with Texas!
