Welcome back! What's unusual? Are you looking for anything particular? Do you mind letting us know what medium you grow your peppers in, that's if you grow in pots.

Yep, welcome back. Let us know what kind of peppers you are growing now. Maybe someone out there will offer up a couple you don't have right now.
Oh, and pictures have become all the rage on this list in the last 5 years. Let's see what you got.

Well, I've done things a little different this year. I usually grow a hodge podge of peppers. This year I don't have as many varieties. I have 3 bells, 3 jalapenos, 6 Big Jim, and 1 tabasco volunteered from last year.

I was hoping to get enough Big Jim's to make a ristra. I used to do all my pepper gardening in pots. However the last few years I've made some space in the backyard and have them in the ground. As for growing medium, I usually pick up a few bags of a good potting soil. I didn't use anything this year except maybe a little bit of compost. My plants are kind of shabby right now because I had a pumpkin vine which invaded the peppers so they missed out on some needed sunlight when they were small. The pumpkin vine is gone and the peppers are happy again and returning with a vengeance.

Anyway, I do have many pictures but to be honest, my peppers aren't very photogenic right now. I guess I'm waiting to post some pictures that I can be proud of.
