What is this pepper??

I obviously got the wrong pepper than I thought. Do you know what this kind is and when to pick? Thanks.

Where did you get it? Could be a hot hungarian wax.

A bit more green that I would expect for HHW and they normally wouldn't have those lengthwise ridges if they were HHW. I was going to say "maybe" Pepperoncini but that would just by a guess. Maybe another photo of the whole plant would help.

I vote with Bruce, looks like a pepperoncini to me. Especially if the plant is covered in fruit, they really seem to be prolific.

I got it at rural king, or walmart. I can't remember for sure. thanks
