Need a better pic, or blown up more, hard to tell what it is. Something is eating up my tomatoes too. I went out last night to pick some Sungold and 90% of the new growth was gone and left with stems. I couldn't find any hornworms, not sure if it's grasshoppers, or what, but I am NOT happy!

Might be a looper type caterpillar.
They seem to at first pick out specific plants but move everywhere eventually.

They love my horseradish but get bored and end up eating my peppers.
Pics bad but it looks similar to a Looper.

Kill all catapillars

But they turn into such beautiful winged creatures. :-( I actually will catch them and give them to my friend to give her son. He's grown out a lot of swallowtails. I usually plant extra parsley so I can have some while the caterpillar can have their fill.

I killed it. The question was if there's reason to go CSI on my plants to see if there are more of them :)

The picture did turn out exceptionally bad. It was very bright green.

cjohansen: Most caterpillars eat foliage, I think. So I tend to take things into my own hands. Rather than search for them, I spray BT K variant once every 2-3 weeks whether I see them or not.

Totally safe stuff. Organic and it only targets caterpillars.
