Sorry i can't identify your plant, the pods are still a little too immature for that. One thing that complicates matters is purchasing seeds off Ebay. Unfortunately there's a few too many unscrupulous vendors that sell mislabeled seeds, or hybrids, which will further complicate your attempts to ID the plant.

I would try posting again after several pods have ripened, this will increase our chances of ID'ing it for you. Or perhaps, in the meantime, try posting a close-up picture of the largest pods, then maybe someone would attempt an educated guess.

The leaves, and because the pods look like they are growing in singles, lead me to believe that the plant is an annuum type, which would mean it is not a true Datil. I may be wrong however so take that observation with a big grain of salt.

There's no clusters. I don't know what type of hot peppers that don't have bud clusters.

May have solved my own problem. The e-bay vendor of my Thai Hot also sells Hot Cherry heirloom seeds. His pictures on his web site of the Hot Cherry look exactly like my plants. Maybe a seed missabled in packaging.
I have singles growing in the interior branches , but it appears I have clusters on the top of the plants. Will have to wait a little longer to see if I get red peppers.
