leaves shredded by wind

we've had some serious storming here in florida recently.

some of my plants got pretty torn up. especially the ghosts and the 7pots, with their large leaves. the leaves are all ripped up. plants like the thai with their small leaves are fine.

on the messed up ones, should I trim off the torn up leaves, or just leave them and see what happens? I've already hit them with a healthy dose of fertilizer (especially fish), which usually spurs foliage growth, but should I be trimming off the ugly ones to make room for new growth?

it's like fate is conspiring to keep me from getting bhut pods, and it's pissing me off. I've moved my plants under cover til this blows over to help them a bit, but I'm genuinely concerned. as if the over watering from the storm wasn't enough...
