Need Some Heat

It's almost the middle of July and our temps here are more like end of May/begining of June.
Have only had a few days here and there with temps in upper 80's and only once hit 90. We usually are sitting in the 80's most days and into the 90's as well by now.

Pepper Plants are doing okay growth wise, but flower and pod production could be better.

Bring on the heat!

I was going to post something similar.Same here is SE Michigan. I was wondering which is more imprtant heat or sun.I can put some plants on my front porch where is gets 10 degrees warmer when the sun is out then it does on my back deck. the flip side is it only gets 12 as much sun through the day.

Sorry to hear that Sandy and Andy. Especially you Sandy--- I know how you wait all winter itching to grow peppers. On the bright side, at least you save money on A/C...;)

I read in the sports page that the Senior Open(Golf) in Edmond, Oklahoma was being played in "oppressive" heat. Hopefully that heat inches it's way up north to you.

Andy: Sunlight is more important, unless it's REAL cool; or hot. Maybe you guys can try to warm up your pots or ground by laying down some black plastic or wrapping your pots in it.

Here's my forecast-- I'll blow Northeast ;)
