no more new flowers on my Reaper

I noticed about a week ago that my potted reaper has not put any new flowers out. it has about 23 pods on it (a couple of which are starting to ripen). I just assume that the plant is focusing all of it's energy on ripening the pods and not on producing new ones. Does that make sense? I' hoping when i start to pick some that it will start flowering again.

Don't know, but that sounds right....

Mine are planted in the ground and have a lot a green pods on them, small to most being full size. MIne are still producing a lot of flowers, but many are dropping as well.

One of my Cheyenne had 9 very large pods on it and a few small and it stopped flowering. I cut 4 off about a week and a half ago and I'm starting to see small buds on it now so I thinking along the same lines as you. I've got another 5 I'll harvest this weekend I hope it loads up with flowers then.

Thanx guys, hopefully I'll be able to pluck a few pods this weekend. I'm afraid of a slow down in growth up here. it has not been hot here at all. One day back in June it hit 90. a handful of days have been mid 70s but for the most part its been low-high 70s and very little raid or humidity. Quite pleasant actually but my peppers and palms would like some heat
