Curled Leaves

So I've had this Pumpkin Habanero for about 6 months now... up until the past few weeks, it was dropping almost all pods... I got about 2 out of it in the 6 months.. However, since cutting some banana trees thats were blocking the sun, I have tons of pods growing and its even started to grow more.

Overall, the plant looks super healthy. However, after inspecting, I recently noticed these curled leaves toward the bottom and a few up top (though not nearly as severe). The severely curled leaves are only on one bottom brnach.

Is this normal or something to be concerned about?

Not sure. But probably protecting itself a bit after finally getting the sun it needs....lol

Glad you finally decided to get at least one of your plants more sun. I've said all along they need MORE.

I wouldn't worry too much as long as it stays lush and keeps flowering.

I am with woohooman, Don't sweat it as long as the plant is flowering and setting pods, it is pretty happy.

Thanks guys.

Kevin - it was weird because the one to the left gets a little less sun (because of its placement), but has always put out pods like crazy. I just figured since this one was getting a little more (even with the banana trees' leaves blocking a little sun throughout the day), it would be good... guess certain varieties need even more sun than others!

But yes, seems like that was the problem all along... the ones on the balcony, unfortunately are maxed out in the amount of sun I can cover. Probably would put out more, but still producing...
