Beautiful pepper. I'm not sure a brain strain was the right pepper to be your first half pod. I guess that's what you call diving right in. At least it was red. I believe a red brain strain would have hurt a little more.

Thanks guys! I'm sure the red would have packed some more punch, but I think the yellows probably taste better. There wasn't that much placenta, but there was tons of oil. I eat reaper powder on almost ever meal, I eat some of the hottest hot sauces, eat habs all the time, and I have even tried small pieces of a fresh reaper pod, but this was my first time biting into a big chunk of super. I started sweating before I even felt the heat in my mouth. The burn was very slow but extremely intense. It was more of a pure heat and not so stingy, like annums or even habs. I would do a whole pod but they are giant , and I worry about my stomach.

I know IâÂÂm a sissy. But come one the things is huge itâÂÂs like eating an apple! It would have been like three bites. ItâÂÂs not the mouth burn I am worried about itâÂÂs the everything else burn that has me terrified. That thing gave me the worst stomach ach of my life. From what I can tell itâÂÂs around 1 mill shuâÂÂs as well as the naga morich. Maybe one day ill eat the entire thing.

O, Please , Scott. Take it easy ! If anybody can take a bite out of a super hot, he is no sissy. The hottest I have eaten was yellow Manzano, ONCE. And that has a SHU of 20k. And I ain't feel like I am a sissy :-)
