Shailadi: I wish I had a definite answer for you. My guess is they are two names for the same pepper. However, over the past 4 or 5 years of pepper growing, I have come to the realization that you need a doctorate in Botany and DNA testing facilities to accurately determine the exact variety of pepper you have. Even then, it will be called half a dozen different names and could be cross besides.
I grew some Cayenne this past season and I beleive they were labeled as "Long Red Slim". They are long and skinny and I would be willing to send you some seeds if you like.
